Welcome to the Western Ideas Forum, the inaugural flagship event created for campground operators and outdoor hospitality professionals across Western Canada. We’re thrilled to have you join us! Below are answers to some frequently asked questions to help you get the most out of your experience.


SAVING THE APP TO YOUR DEVICE HOME SCREEN

IPAD OR IPHONE

  1. Launch Safari app. *Please note that this does not work from the “Chrome” app.
  2. Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap Go.
  3. Tap the icon featuring an arrow pointing up coming out of a box along the bottom of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down and Tap Add to Home Screen. The “Add to Home” dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
  5. Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap Add. Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your device screen.

ANDROID

  1. Launch the Chrome app. *Please note that this does not work from the device’s native web browser app.
  2. Open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

When is the event?

November 3–6, 2025
Pre-conference activities and CCRVA Board Meetings begin November 2.

Do I need a printed ticket or badge?

No need to bring a printed ticket—your name badge will be available at the event registration desk. Badges must be worn at all times and are required to access sessions, meals, the tradeshow, and networking events.

What can I do with the app?

  • View and customize your session schedule
  • Download speaker materials and session handouts
  • Connect with other attendees, speakers, and vendors
  • View tradeshow floorplan and sponsor information
  • Take notes for each session
  • Access the event FAQ and updates in real-time
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATIONS

Where do I check in?

Hotel check-in is at the front desk at St. Eugene Resort. Check-in is from 4:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM.

I forgot to book my room. Is it too late?

Room availability is now VERY limited. Book as soon as possible by calling the hotel directly at 1-866-292-2020 and mention you are attending the Western Ideas Forum. Contingent hotel logistics will be provided should the hotel reach capacity.

MEALS & DIETARY NEEDS

Are meals included in my registration?

Yes! All conference meals and networking events are included with your attendee badge.

I have dietary restrictions. What should I do?

Please email [email protected] as soon as possible with any dietary needs so we can accommodate you.

SESSIONS & SPEAKER MATERIALS

Will I get access to presentation materials?

Yes. Presentations and any supplemental speaker documents will be available to download through the event web app.

Can I take notes during the sessions?

Absolutely! Use the note-taking feature in the app to capture your insights for each session.

TRADESHOW & EXHIBITORS

What are tradeshow hours?

The AccomEx tradeshow will take place Tuesday, November 4th from 9 am to 4 pm MT.

Where can I see the tradeshow layout?

The full floorplan is available on the web app or at https://camprvwest.com/floorplan/

CONNECTING & NETWORKING

Will there be opportunities to network?

Yes! Networking is built into the schedule with coffee breaks, evening receptions, and interactive sessions. You can also use the web app to connect with fellow attendees and sponsors.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Can I donate something to the Silent Auction?

Yes, and we’d love that! Silent Auction proceeds go to Care Camps, and donations are a great way to showcase your brand. Please email Darlene Oswald at [email protected] if you’re interested in donating.
